Broadgun Software Pty Ltd is a privately owned company registered in the state of Victoria, Australia. ABN 34 069 073 052

Craig Broadbear established Broadgun Software in 1995 without venture capital and remains the sole shareholder.

The company is dedicated to producing and marketing PDF related software.

pdfMachine was released in 2001. Initially released as an add-on to ArcItUp, it soon became the primary focus of Broadgun Software.

ArcItUp Enterprise Document management system was released in 1999. When released there was a demand for an affordable document management system that was easy to install and use. ArcItUp has been superceded by Broadgun's "Museum" software.

In 1996 Broadgun Software released Cam Shot Web Cam server. The web cam software captures still images from video cameras and serves them up as jpeg images in html pages.
